I am a highly experienced Business Consultant, Business, Life, and Performance Coach with over 20 years of expertise in my field.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of delivering lectures on management subjects at various prestigious Training Establishments. I am deeply committed to assisting individuals who aspire to achieve more in their lives and businesses.
My primary focus is to guide people in taking the leap towards a more fulfilling life and/or business by minimizing uncertainty and overcoming challenges. I believe in empowering individuals to shed unnecessary burdens, seize control of their daily lives, and devise strategies that align with their true destinies. Through this approach, I strive to help my clients create lives and businesses that are both successful and satisfying.
My journey began in Oudtshoorn, a town situated in the semi-desert Karoo region of South Africa. I grew up in various rural areas of South Africa, including the Eastern Cape, KZN, and Namaqualand. During my school years, I developed a passion for short distance athletics and rugby. I completed my final two years of high school in Pretoria, the capital of South Africa.
After completing high school, I pursued my passion for knowledge by earning an honors degree in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Pretoria and UNISA. Following my studies, I served in the military for four years before embarking on a career with the Department of Foreign Affairs of South Africa.
In 1989, I married my wife, and shortly after our honeymoon, we were transferred to the Embassy in Windhoek. Throughout my career, I served as a First Secretary at our Embassies in Namibia and Singapore, and eventually assumed the position of Head: Admin and Management Training at the esteemed Foreign Service Institute in Pretoria.
At the end of 1997, I made the decision to transition from government service to the realm of Business and HR Development consulting. Over 23 years later, I still find immense satisfaction in this line of work. Recognizing the importance of expanding my knowledge and skills in business and coaching, I pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management, an MBA, and various human development courses and coaching certifications.
I am happily married (34 years), a grandfather of one boy and the proud father of two successful and accomplished adult children. During my leisure time, I find solace in unwinding by a campfire in the Bushveld or Karoo during the winter, and in the summer, I adore the beaches of the Knysna-George area, particularly Buffalo Bay, where I spent cherished childhood summer vacations. For me, a perfect holiday is incomplete without a traditional braai (barbecue), potjiekos, and the company of beloved family and friends.
