Johannesburg, South Africa – February 2018; Each year thousands of students complete their tertiary education at an institution that best aligns with their career goals. For one successful Capital Hotel School alumni, Ian Boshoff, not only did his dreams of working in the hospitality industry become a reality, but he’s travelling the world too.
Growing up in Vanderbijlpark, Boshoff studied at one of the leading training institutions for Hospitality and Professional Cookery, Capital Hotel School. Ian’s qualification stood him in good stead and afforded him the opportunity to travel across the world and work abroad on the prestigious, Disney Fantasy Cruise Line in the fine dining department.
Boshoff shares, “Capital Hotel School taught me discipline to do a job only certain people can do. The hospitality industry itself can take a lot from a person in terms of time and energy, but I am grateful that Capital Hotel School taught me how to stay on top of my game and to always perform at my best.”
Ronel Bezuidenhout, Principal and Managing Director at Capital Hotel School says, “At Capital Hotel School, we pride ourselves in the level of nationally and internationally recognised training we offer our students, with our hospitality and professional cookery diploma and certificate courses. Through the mentorship of our industry experts that remain abreast of global hospitality trends, we are able to develop our students and equip them for the real world of work.”
“I thank Capital Hotel School for where I am today! Although, I enjoyed making friends, attending classes – and particularly the practical experience, it was the level of qualification that I received at Capital Hotel School that equipped me with the tools to be successful in an incredibly competitive industry”, concluded Boshoff.
