Payment of tuition fees are made as follows:

  • Application fee (non-refundable) — payable at scheduled interview with parents/guardians at CHS campus.
  • If the student is accepted, he/she will receive an acceptance letter and the deposit is requested (part of tuition fees and not refundable).
  • The cost of the starter kit (see details below) is payable by 31 December 2022.
  • The balance of the tuition fees is payable at registration in January 2023

Payment Options

Full Payment at Registration We accept bank transfers, credit cards and cash — the latter two options have additional cost implications. If full payment is received by the end of January 2023, the applicant will pay the 2022 tuition fees. Kindly note that should you not be able to settle the balance of your fees in full by the end of January 2023, you will be liable to pay the 2023 fees, which are subject to change in February 2023.

We facilitate and accept student loans. Herewith are guidelines to apply for a student loan.

  • Student loans are one of the best financing options in South Africa for the following reasons
  • Most banks grant student loans at a much lower interest rate than other type of loans.
  • Only interest and bank charges are payable for the duration of the studies; the balance is only due after completion of studies.
  • It is advisable to apply for a student loan with the bank you are currently banking at, as you might be able to negotiate a lower interest rate and you stand a better chance to get an early approval.
  • The person responsible for the payment of the student loan (called a principal debtor) must have a positive credit rating.
  • The loan can be used for study fees and student accommodation, prescribed learning devices/tools, textbooks, and other approved learning material.
  • The following documents are usually required to accompany the application form, but financial institutions might require additional documents as per their terms and conditions:
  • Identity document of applicant/student.
  • Proof of residence (not older than 3 months).
  • CHS Enrolment letter (supplied after the enrolment deposit has been paid to CHS).
  • Breakdown of study fees and other related expenses (reflecting on the CHS Enrolment letter).
  • Proof of income:
  • Latest 3 months' bank statements (stamped and reflecting your latest 3 months' payslips)
  • If you are self-employed, your latest 6 months' bank statements (stamped) and Personal Tax Assessment (ITA 34)
  • CHS has also contracted with Student Hero as a service provider to provide an educational funding procurement service to the applicants of CHS. Our friendly marketing staff will assist you with the necessary information.
